Adopt a Terrier / Great Pyrenees / Mixed

Prince is one of a litter of pups named after famous musicians. Prince’s namesake once sang “Life is just a party...” Canine Prince has been working hard on the part that says “and parties weren’t meant to last!” He has learned that parties only come with permission, and he waits nicely until he’s allowed to party.

Prince is a big, 70 lb snuggly guy with an incredibly KISSable face. One of Prince’s sisters had a DNA test and found that they are a little bit of a lot of different breeds - even chihuahua!

Prince really enjoys playing with other dogs, and would do best with dogs who also want to play. He is in a foster home with cats, and is pretty good about being respectful - although sometimes he tries to get them to play and they think that is a horrible idea. He is good about chewing appropriate toys, and is potty trained. He does exceptionally well in a crate and actually prefers to eat his food in there.

Prince does well with kids and enjoys them (see the video with his 11-year-old foster brother), but since he is big, and “life is just a party” very small children would be at risk of being tipped over.

Prince has started our training program and is doing great! Because of that, and his tendency to party hard, we have required Prince to continue with our training so he can continue his progress.

***Most of our pups can be enrolled in training anywhere, but there are a few that we require to attend our training. This is one of them. They have something special about them and we want to make sure they get the extra support they need. Most of them have already started our training program.
